Christine Leetham, the President and Andrew Conway, the CEO, visited China in June to enhance NIA’s presentation and expand our cooperations with local government department, professional organization and universities. They met with following organizations:
- The Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) in Guangdong Province
- Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU)
- Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE)
- Shanghai National Accounting Institute, China
- State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA)
- The Chinese Certified Tax Agents Association (CCTAA)
In Guangzhou, Andrew met with the Australian Consulate-General and major migration agents to update them on the recent accounting skills assessment criteria changes on 20 June.
On behalf of the NIA, Christine, Andrew and Rhona Chen (NIA Chief Representative in China) are invited to attend a Plenary Session at the Australian Pavilion at World Exposition 2010 in Shanghai on 24 June. The event is organized by TAFE Directors Australia and the China Education Association for International Exchange.
Andrew will be awarded the Guest Professorship by the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) on 25 June as a recognition of his achievements in the profession.
澳大利亚国家会计师协会（NIA）主席克里斯汀•丽森女士（Christine Leetham）及NIA 全球总裁安德鲁•康威先生（Andrew Conway）于6月份访问中国，以提升NIA的协会形象并加深同政府部门，专业团体和高等院校的合作关系。此次行程访问的组织机构有：

- 中山大学(SYSU)
- 上海财经大学(SUFE)
- 上海国家会计学院
- 中国国家外专局(SAFEA)
- 中国注册税务师协会(CCTAA)
NIA总裁安德鲁在广州与澳大利亚驻广州总领事馆副领事及移民咨询公司，于2010年6月20日对会计技术移民评估标准的变化进行通报。
NIA主席克里斯汀、NIA总裁安德鲁和NIA中国首席代表陈荣女士受邀代表NIA参加于2010年6月24日在上海世博园澳大利亚国家馆举行的会议。该会议由澳大利亚政府、澳洲高等职业技术学院董事会及中国教育国际交流协会（CEAIE）联合举办。
NIA总裁安德鲁于6月25日被上海财经大学聘为客座教授。
